At last Apple has released iOS 6.1 publicly. This release has been long awaited for it foreshadows a release of the next major jailbreak for iOS. News has been quiet for some time of a jailbreak. We heard a few weeks ago that there was in fact a iOS 6 and 6.1 exploit. Now Musclenerd, Pod2g, Planetbeing, and @pimskeks have joined together to create the evad3er dev team.
Also a side note is that iOS 6.1 is safe to update BUT make sure you update through iTunes and NOT OTA.
As of right now the developers are working on finishing a stable release for the public. There have been a few tweets to spark the audience on twitter like MuscleNerd’s tweet:
“Hey, did everyone know the Super Bowl is this Sunday? What will you be doing? /cc @evad3rs evad3rs.com”
